Kyle Grunder

Experience

Kyle Grunder’s experience includes design peer review and construction quality assurance of curtain wall, point-supported glass, and metal panel assemblies, and their transitions with adjacent systems. He has been engaged with cladding and fenestration replacement projects, and he has provided water infiltration testing and field and plant observations for new and existing projects. Mr. Grunder is an FAA-certified drone pilot and is an active part of WJE’s initiative to include advanced unmanned aerial systems as part of our building enclosure services.

Mr. Grunder manages various projects, from forensic investigations of air and water infiltration through vertical and horizontal building enclosure components to repair design and construction administration to ensure conformance with project documents

  • One Bellevue Station - Denver, CO: Investigation of precast column grout conditions through drilling and repair observations
  • Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine - College Station: AAMA 501.2 water leakage field test on curtain wall and punched window openings
  • Texas Children’s Hospital, Pediatric Tower E - Houston: ASTM E1105 field determination of water penetration
